Superheroes

Today you are going to write a story that features the superhero person and pet you have created this week. In your stories we are looking for:

* speech with speech marks
* cursive handwriting
* excitment that makes readers what to read what your hero gets up to
* description so we can imagine what is going on in my head
* interesting story opening using phrases such as one windy day, last week and a long time ago
* introduction of your superhero and where the superhero is
* a build up to the problem that leads someone to calling the superhero
* powerful and exciting description to describe how the superhero helps that person
* a happy or sad ending

Well done Year 2 it has been a fantastic week, my highlight has to be seeing all of your wonderful African weaving as well as Ella's story. I hope you have a fun weekend and come back on Monday ready to begin our new Quangle Wangle booklet.
