Good morning Year 2
Thank you for brightening up yesterday with lots of emails and photographs of work you have worked extremely hard on - well done! Please take a look at yesterday's blog to read the amazing poetry your friends wrote.
Today's Learning Tasks:
Warm up your body
Get ready for learning by joining Joe Wicks ‘The Body Coach’ on YouTube. As it is Friday he will be in costume and you are welcomed to wear a costume too if you would like to.
Reading
Read one of your school reading books for 10 minutes and ask someone to listen to your response to one of the questions below. If you need a new reading book ask a carer to help you access an ebook on the Oxford Owl website.
Fiction: What do you think would happen if the story carried on past the ending of the book?
Fiction: What do you think would happen if the story carried on past the ending of the book?
Non Fiction: Why do you think the author has written this text?
First turn to page 19-23, which requires you to review your poem, read the full story of Pandora’s Box and then write your thoughts about the magical teaching pack. Next week we will focus on a new text.
