Reading
We are exploring Handa's Surprise this week, please watch the video of the text and follow the ‘Draw
a fruit’ activity, which states the following:
Children can choose one of the fruits Handa carries to her friend and draw it in as much detail as possible, choosing colours carefully and noticing patterns and textures. Children can peel or cut into the fruit to see the shapes and seeds. Afterwards they can eat it!

You have worked really hard learning how to read times to the nearest 5 minutes on analogue clocks. So today we are moving on to introducing digital clocks. Please watch the two teaching videos below which present o'clock and half past times on both clocks, then match the clocks that show the same time.

Our Star of the Day is Grace. She has tried so hard with her home learning despite not feeling too well today.
Daily Reflection
Your time work is going so well, we are so pleased with the way you have followed the blog over the past few weeks and have progressed so well in being able to read the time on clocks. Well done! Some of you are also good at completing and sharing your home learning tasks every day, we are so proud of you!
