Wednesday 6th May - Home Learning

The Sun Has Got His Hat On - Learning Disability | QCS Blog

Good morning Year 2,

The sunshine is on it's way back! We are so excited about being able to enjoy the warmth of the sunshine whilst learning in the garden and going out for a daily walk. We need to enjoy this while it lasts.

We hope you are feeling well this morning. Hopefully school will not have anymore problems with the school website or emails. Remember to stay in touch with us so we want to know how home learning is going, thank you.

Today's leaning tasks:

We are exploring Handa's Surprise this week. Today we would like you to turn the volume off of the video, then find someone to listen to you retelling the story in your own words - use the illustrations to help with the retell of the story.

The Magical Teaching Box
Today we would like you to focus on page 11, which requires you to

What time is it?
Today we are moving on to reading quarter past and quarter to times on digital clocks. Please watch the teaching video below which present quarter past times on both types of clocks, then copy and draw lines to match the clocks that show the same time.
